The Green Gala - As a means to celebrate our 20th Anniversary, Rebuilding Together Montgomery County hosted The Green Gala on April 10th. Here we honored our founders, Gordon Hawk and Jay Treadwell, and enjoyed a lovely dinner with music and dancing. The event was held at the Tower 2000 Building - the first Platinum LEED Certified Building in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Spring Rebuilding Day - While we do work on homes throughout the year, our largest annual event, Spring Rebuilding Day, continues to be the main focus of our organization. Every year, on the last Saturday in April we strive to have over 1,000 skilled and unskilled volunteers come together to repair and revitalize between 40 and 50 homes and nonprofit facilities in Montgomery County. Our Rebuilding Day is part of the larger National Rebuilding Day initiative where Rebuilding Together affiliates across the country will assemble an average of 250,000 volunteers to repair about 8,500 homes in over 1,800 cities on one incredible day of volunteerism.

Fall Rebuilding Day - Similar to our Spring event, volunteers from across Montgomery County come together to repair and revitalize between 3 and 5 homes on the fourth Saturday in October, Make A Difference Day.

RTMC Golf Classic - Every year in the fall, RTMC hosts a golf tournament. As our largest fundraiser of the year, the proceeds from the tournament go a long way in supporting our office operations.
